Police Respond to Armed Robbery, Shots Fired by Suspect
Police responded to an armed robbery at 7-Eleven, Broadway and Patterson, at 1:50 a.m., today, March 6. A shot had been fired in the store and the male suspect fled with cash on foot.
Officers were quickly in the area and located the suspect near a parking lot. They pursued the suspect and the suspect fired additional rounds. Police were unable to locate the suspect and are continuing to investigate.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s or 50s, 5’6″ tall, with a thin build and gaunt appearance. His face has pock marks and he was last seen wearing a dark rain jacket and dark pants.
Additional details will be provided as they become available. If anyone has relevant tips in the case they are asked to call 541-682-5111.

Armed suspect seen near 515 E. Broadway
2017-03-06 5:20 a.m.: A man believed to be armed with a gun was last seen near The Hub apartment complex at 515 E. Broadway, after an early-morning armed robbery attempt at the 7-11 store at 590 E. Broadway, in which the suspect fired at Eugene Police.
Local law enforcement have been searching for the suspect throughout the area, with a K-9 unit, but have not located him.
A suspect description will be added as soon as it can be confirmed with Eugene Police.
