    Eugene Police release information about 7-Eleven robbery suspect

    2017-03-06 6:20 a.m.: The following media release is being sent this morning by Eugene Police:

    Police Respond to Armed Robbery, Shots Fired by Suspect

    Police responded to an armed robbery at 7-Eleven, Broadway and Patterson, at 1:50 a.m., today, March 6. A shot had been fired in the store and the male suspect fled with cash on foot.

    Officers were quickly in the area and located the suspect near a parking lot. They pursued the suspect and the suspect fired additional rounds. Police were unable to locate the suspect and are continuing to investigate.

    The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s or 50s, 5’6″ tall, with a thin build and gaunt appearance. His face has pock marks and he was last seen wearing a dark rain jacket and dark pants.
