Road closures continue post-Trials

University of Oregon employees and visitors beware: road closures around Hayward Field and the east side of campus remain in effect through July 22, as the massive structures erected for the Olympic Track and Field Trials and fan festival are dismantled and trucked away.

Maps of day-by-day road and parking closures are still available: http://arcg.is/1Ry8ghN

15th Avenue from Agate Street to University Street, and Agate Street south from 13th Avenue to 18th Avenue are closed through July 17. Agate Street going north only is open between 15th and 13th avenues.

NO cars or bikes should attempt to drive through the closed areas, which are marked by signs, fences and security barricades. Trucks and construction equipment are constantly in motion disassembling Trials infrastructure, loading and hauling it away. The area is extremely dangerous as the heavy equipment and material moves around, and so remains closed. Deliveries, commercial traffic, and regular campus travel all must use alternate routes and respect the road closures.
