    2017-10-24: Agate Hall clear, reopened

    University of Oregon Police have cleared Agate Hall; it will be open for any classes and normal activities on Wednesday, October 25.

    Security will be on-site at Agate Hall, and students and employees who evacuated may return to pick up belongings left behind, until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Otherwise, building occupants can reclaim belongings starting Wednesday morning on the building’s normal schedule.



    2017-10-24: Agate Hall situation resolved, streets reopened

    University of Oregon Police are re-opening Agate Street, and 17th and 18th avenues as of 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24.

    Agate Hall will remain closed until further notice and student and employees will not return Tuesday, but police consider the situation resolved for the surrounding community.

    As police search and secure Agate Hall, Agate Street has been closed to traffic from 15th Avenue south to 19th Avenue; portions of 17th and 18th avenues that feed into Agate have also been closed.

    2017-10-24: bomb threat, evacuation at Agate Hall

    Eugene Police received a bomb threat around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 24 for Agate Hall on the University of Oregon campus. UO Police has evacuated the building to conduct a search. People should stay away from the area of Agate Street between 17th and 19th avenues.

    Peacehealth North Building is in lock down

    Peacehealth North Building is in lock down due to a threat to Peacehealth office in the building.  Staff is not able to gain access to the building at this time.   Please consider locking office doors.  If you are expecting visitorsthis afternoon, you may need to let them know of the lockdown.  When we get the all clear from Peacehealth, we will send out another email.  This message is only going to the UO occupants of Peacehealth North Building.  (10/2/2017 at 1:37pm)
