In compliance with federal law, the University of Oregon prepares an annual report on campus security and fire safety programs and services. The 2018 Annual Campus Security and Fire Safety Report is now available online.
The report includes crime statistics for the previous three calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on Clery Act geography, to include on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University of Oregon; and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. Fire statistics for the previous three calendar years are included.
The report also provides information regarding campus security and safety, for example, prevention and response to sexual assault and other serious crimes, crime prevention and security awareness information, crime reporting procedures, substance abuse prevention and education, campus and community services and resources for employees and students who are victims of crime, fire safety and emergency and evacuation procedures, as well as other matters of importance to the campus community.
All UO community members are encouraged to sign up for UO Alerts notifications. Campus and community resources for student survivors of sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating or domestic violence, gender-based harassment or bullying, and/or stalking are available at safe.uoregon.edu. Employee crime survivors may also view resources online. University prevention programs and efforts are listed at prevention.uoregon.edu.
