UO Alert Test

This is a test of the UO Alert system and a reminder to practice earthquake response: Duck, Cover, and Hold. In an actual earthquake, drop to the floor, get under a sturdy piece of furniture, and hold on until the shaking stops.

Nationwide Emergency Notification Test – Oct. 3rd at 11:18 PDT

At 11:18 am PDT, October 3, 2018, a national test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and the Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) will broadcast to radio, TV, cable stations and wireless carriers (text messages).

The test is coordinated by FEMA and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).  The test is not affiliated with University of Oregon Alerts.
