PeaceHealth administration has placed the PeaceHealth North building in lockdown, after a man made a general threat about the University District hospital. Police are seeking the man, who is not known to have weapons but is known for past agitated behavior at the hospital. Police did not advise the lockdown, hospital administration elected to do so as a precautionary measure.

UOPD has placed a community service officer at PeaceHealth North to look after UO employees at the location; employees at PeaceHealth North may exit and re-enter the building with proper identification. As always, police encourage employees to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity.
