Monday classes canceled; Service updates

January 9, 2017 – 10:31 am

Classes remain canceled on the Eugene campus today. Portland campus is opening at 10:00 am. Normal business operations will resume with some limited disruptions in Eugene. Please see the list below for services that may be closed or not open normal hours Monday:

  • UO Libraries and the EMU and McKenzie Computer Labs will open at 9:00 AM, see Library website for updates.
  • University Health Center opens at 10:00 am
  • EMU:  All food vendors expected to be open regular hours. Update: Chipotle opening at 12:00 pm. Red Wagon Creamery will be closed.
    Movies in the Redwood Auditorium from noon–8:00 p.m.
    (Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows One and Two)
    Craft free (with student id) in the Craft Center from 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
    Board games in the Resource Center with free coffee from noon–5:00 p.m.
    Outdoor Programs open at 9:00 a.m., DIY Bikes from noon–5:00 p.m.
    KWVA open from 10:00 a.m-5:00 p.m for station tours, browse and listen to music.
    Sustainability Center open 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • SRC: Normal hours – 6:00 am – 12:00 am
  • Moss Street Child Development Center – CLOSED
  • Olum Child Development Center – Open at 9:30 am

Members of the campus community are expected to use their best judgment in assessing the risk of coming to campus, based on individual circumstances.
