UO Alert Eugene: Severe Weather Closure 1/15/24, 2 p.m.

UO Campus is closed and all classes and events on campus are cancelled all day Tuesday, Jan. 16 due to weather and safety concerns. Essential and other employees should check with their supervisors if scheduled to work. Crews continue campus cleanup and assessment. Use your best judgement determining when you can return to campus safely.

Be cautious on campus as winter conditions continue. Sidewalks and roads are ice covered and very slick, and the potential for more freezing rain is expected late Tuesday. Stay clear of areas marked with caution tape. Avoid trees and tree covered routes. Beware of downed or falling trees, limbs and powerlines.
