Canvas services, including uploads, have been fully restored.

As of 1:00 pm PST, the Canvas service and performance seems to be available and/or recovering quickly. Although many users should now be able to access Canvas, there may still be areas of impaired functionality such as uploading assignments, quizzes, and new content. Here at the UO, we are currently testing both Canvas functionality and the functionality of integrated third-party tools, including VeriCite. The latest Amazon status post indicates potential recovery within an hour.
We are currently contacting faculty to assess academic impact and offer mitigation strategies.
