Just before 5 p.m. today, UOPD arrested a male disorderly subject at Straub Hall. He was also reportedly causing disturbance in Deady Hall prior to arriving at Straub Hall.
The suspect was taken into police custody without incident. More info from UOPD.

Police on Sunday said they are continuing to look for a 31-year-old local man after a wild chase involving a stolen vehicle Saturday night that began in Springfield and ended near the University of Oregon campus in Eugene. Read the full story.
On Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, a downed cedar tree will be removed from the area near Fenton Hall. 13th Avenue will be closed to through traffic. As the Willamette Valley continues to experience rain and windy weather conditions, please use caution when traveling around and adjacent to campus. We appreciate cooperation with barriers and signage where work is occurring.

The food grease spill in and adjacent to the PLC parking lot, Lot 16, has been cleaned up. The parking lot is open.

A suspected food grease spill is impacting the parking lot adjacent to PLC, Lot 16. Pedestrians, bicycles and motor vehicles should use caution due to the slippery conditions. The UO and City of Eugene are working to clean up the incident as soon as possible. Please observe signage on the west edge of campus about recommended routes around the area.
